The four-city south King County corridor — Des Moines, Federal Way, Normandy Park, and Redondo Beach — remains under-supplied across all price tiers. Buyer activity has held steady through spring, with Federal Way drawing extra attention as the 2026 Link extension nears opening. Inventory is widest in Federal Way and tightest in Redondo and Normandy Park; the well-prepped homes still set the pace on days-on-market regardless of city.
