The four-city corridor — Des Moines, Federal Way, Normandy Park, and Redondo Beach — has shifted measurably since spring. More homes are available, buyers are taking longer to commit, and sellers who priced to June comps are adjusting downward. The 2026 Link extension is still drawing interest to Federal Way, but the broader pull-back is visible across all price tiers.
If you’re thinking about selling
Price to current market, not June. Pre-inspection and staged presentation still separate the homes that move from the ones that linger, but margin for error has narrowed.
